Afsana Mimi was born on December 28th to father Syed Fazlul Karim and mother Shirin Afroze. A Dhaka University Department of English graduate, Mimi’s inclination to performing arts started from an early age. She initially started her career as a product model, but later blossomed as a small screen actress. Her memorable performance in “Kothao Keu Nei” as “Bokul” won her the love of millions.
